A WALK IN THE SNOW

On our final day in Gyeongju and at our final UNESCO site that I had planned for us, I had a brilliant idea. “Let’s take the long way home and see another UNESCO site!”

GYEONGJU- CHEOMSEONGDAE OBSERVATORY, DAEREUNGWON TOMBS, AND YANGDONG VILLAGE

I’m a sucker for “Best of” lists- Best Books, Must See Movies, Favorite Products, etc. For some reason I put a lot of value in these and love to dutifully following along what others recommend to me.

GYEONGJU: BULGUKSA TEMPLE & SEOKGURAM GROTTO

Remember my UNESCO passport? Ok, I forgive you if you completely forgot about it, because I mostly did for awhile too.

STAMP SEEKER

Did you know that the Republic of Korea has 10 designated UNESCO World Heritage sites? Did you know that the Korea Tourism Organization gives free passports to collect stamps for these sites? (Do you already see where this is going?)
