We recently spent a week in Palau, a tiny island nation in the Pacific Ocean. There’s really only one reason people go to Palau- to dive!
August was a relaxing month. We were between two guests at our house, and I mainly spent the time taking Winston on walks and seeking air conditioning.
We earned our scuba certification over year ago, but haven’t been diving since that trip. We decided it was time to get back under the sea!
Our trip to Tokyo wasn’t just robots and weirdness, we also made sure to see the city’s most famous historical sites.
We spent just four days in Tokyo, but we kept busy and saw so much during our visit. By the end of the trip I had seen all that I set out to see, and felt that we had visited a wide variety of the city.
Our time in Seoul is wrapping up, and I wanted to make sure we got the iconic Seoul portraits to remember our time here.
I spent July exploring Vietnam and Laos with Jared and his sister, and then we returned to visit all of my favorite spots in Seoul. It was a beautiful month; I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Recent news that panda cubs have been born at the US National Zoo, reminded me that we had our own panda mania in Korea this summer.
Luang Prabang is a delightful town, but there are only so many wats you can visit. During our three days in Laos, we took two little side trips out of the city.
