30. My Christmas gift, a new monitor, arrived a little late, but it’s so pretty!

31. Winston spotted this animal (a raccoon dog) curled up near our apartment. It didn’t move for over 10 hours, but it was still alive. My downstairs neighbors called an animal hospital, and they took it away to nurse it back to health (or so I’m told). Though it has been gone for three weeks, Winston still looks for his friend each day!

      Thanks, Amber! It’s always so hard in the moment to continue with this project, but so worthwhile in the end. And, yes, Winston… how did I get so lucky with this pup?!
