LUANG PRABANG EXCURSIONS

Luang Prabang is a delightful town, but there are only so many wats you can visit. During our three days in Laos, we took two little side trips out of the city.

LAOS LOVE

We only spent three days in Laos, but three days was enough to know. I can usually tell instantly if a place will be memorable. Laos was special; it has the magic.

Jared and I have never been attracted to the idea of a cruise, but after three different friends told us about their cruises on Halong Bay, we knew we had to try it.

HANOI

There’s really only one thing that comes to my mind when I think of Hanoi, Vietnam. Hot. Stifling, unbearable heat.

SINGAPORE SIGHTS

While I really enjoyed the Supertrees in Singapore, I had been excited to go to the MacRitchie Treetop walk and the Night Safari. Unfortunately, the day we had set aside to do this started with rain and a 100% chance of thunderstorms throughout the day. I didn’t think hopping along a treetop metal walkway in a storm was the best idea, so we decided to skip it. Of course, we made this decision, and it didn’t rain a bit.
